“There is marketing mumbo jumbo with this product and there is no such a thing as “fireproof” or “waterproof”. At best, this product is fire and water resistant for a few seconds. It does very well withstanding direct fire from butane burner for a few seconds, but it did leave a mark. I do not believe that this will withstand direct fires for more than 5 minutes. This product would be great if you put this inside a fire resistant safe to protect your important documents.”
